5 ‘THIS IS HOME’ STARS!
I’ve been waiting on the edge of my seat for Rebecca Shea to finish writing this book, and she did not disappoint! It’s an emotional second-chance romance with a happily ever after. There’s nothing better, in my eyes. I loved the characters, although I do wish Cole would have had to fight a little harder to win Frankie back. I know she loved him, and there was no way they could NOT be together, but I wish she would have made him work a little harder after how badly she was hurt. And then to find out her secret later? Oh, man. These people had to overcome some serious hurt to work toward a future together. Overall, I loved the story. AND DID YOU SEE THAT COVER?! Top fave!! -Review by Abby O’Shea
5 STARS – I LOVE THIS DUET! Aleatha Romig never fails to amaze me with her genius. She is a truly gifted and brilliant writer. From the prologue of Into the Light to the very end of Away From the Dark, I was completely engrossed. There were so many layers to this story, and I kept wanting to uncover them all! I had no idea I would find cults so intriguing, but now I want to read more. If you like some suspense and mystery mixed in with your romance, this is an awesome story! – Review by Abby O’Shea
5 STARS – Gah…this book!!! Craft is the flawless story of Lance and Mariah, two co-workers who are not quite friends but sure do have a thing for each other, whether they’d like to admit it or not!
Lance, I just don’t even know where to begin. A sexy, nerdy teacher who is all heart when it comes to his students and his family. With sexual innuendos for DAYS (which was hilarious), Lance is smitten with the librarian, Mariah, in his school and loves to push her buttons, especially since he know she can definitely handle her own.
Mariah is fun and sweet, but yet her sassy side comes out in full force when Lance is around. She can handle Lance like it’s nobody’s business but she’d like to do it in more ways than one However, you do see a softer side to Mariah, a broken side because of family and past relationships that makes your heart just hurt for her.
I am delighted with this story. I felt as though Lance and Mariah’s story was so simple, yet so complicated at the same time. Their banter, the way the brought out the best in each other and even the way their relationship takes on different meanings at times, Lance and Mariah’s journey evolved into something so perfect.
Just when I thought I knew what direction the book was going to take, I truly was surprised at a couple different times throughout the story. Also, the little tidbits of wisdom thrown in throughout the book that make you sit back and really think, well, I loved them.
With every single book https://amzn.to/2XPQfHSAdriana Locke puts out into the world, you just can’t help but think can this one be any better than the last book? Truth is, she’s a master at her Craft and it shows. – Review by Kim Cermak, Sultry Sirens Book Blog
5 STARS – I truly enjoyed every moment of Dangerous Exes by Rachel Van Dyken! After reading the first book, Dirty Exes, I just could not get enough and have wondered about Jessie and Isla.
Friends to enemies to lovers is the name of this game and Jessie and Isla completely nailed it. The banter between to two of them was hilarious, even though Jessie was out to destroy Isla and her company. I loved the give and take between Jessie and Isla and the sexual chemistry/tension was off the charts. Everything about this story was a win for me! From Jessie and Isla’s relationship, to seeing Colin and Blaire again, and meeting Goo-Pah, this book had everything and more. Dangerous Exes had me laughing and smiling while I read the entire book! – Review by Kim Cermak, Sultry Sirens Book Blog
4 STARS – Center of Gravity by K.K. Allen was such charming story with a touch of the forbidden and a bit angsty. It had great characters and a story that captivated me right from the start. It has all the feels and I felt myself immersed in the middle of this story.
Lex Quinn is an amazing dancer, but struggles with insecurities. Even so, I loved how she picked herself up and always kept moving forward. Even when faced with a choreographer who is demanding, bossy and could be a bit of a jerk. Theo demands the best from his dancers, but something about Lex pulls at him.
Theo and Lex had amazing chemistry even when they should not be together due to contractual obligations. I loved their interactions, banter and shared passion. Though they have a rocky start, each is about to have a lasting effect on the other. I truly enjoyed reading Center of Gravity by K.K. Allen and that extra added touch to the story, fabulous! – Review by Liz Thompson, Sultry Sirens Book Blog
4.5 STARS – I absolutely adored reading Temptation by J.D. Hawkins. A friends-to-lovers romance with all the right kind of feels. Friends for as long as they can remember, can Wyatt show Melina what they can have together? And is Wyatt ready for more?
After living the crazy life for years, Wyatt is ready for a change and maybe more. So, he decides to go home and home means seeing Melina again. I loved Melina! She was quiet, but also funny and smart. Wyatt was great at bringing her out and now that they are spending more time together, realize there is may be something more there. They had a great friendship and chemistry!
Their families have been life-long friends and they share a lot of memories but are Wyatt and Melina ready to share more? Temptation was just such a sweet and charming story with great characters. J.D. Hawkins is definitely a must-read author for me and one I highly recommend reading. I devoured this story! – Review by Liz Thompson, Sultry Sirens Book Blog
5 STARS – Ok, let’s be honest. We’ve been reading about Darren and Charlene for years now and we’ve all come to our own conclusions about the two…especially about that damn pearl necklace
After reading Pucked Love however, everything has changed and I’ve got to say, Darren and Charlene are THE Pucked couple. As much as I’ve always stood behind Alex and Violet because they are the ones who started it all, there is no greater love than Darren and Charlene. Two utterly broken people meant to fix each other.
Everything about their story was a win for me. Charlene’s story, Darren’s story, crazy moms, grandparents, porn, weed, RVs, demons and self doubt, kinky sex and non kinky sex, and most importantly oh so many feelings and LOVE. Love like no other. Darren and Charlene’s relationship was a rollercoaster of emotions that had me laughing out loud while grabbing for tissues and crying the next chapter. I fell hard for these two and I have to say, they are undoubtedly the best Pucked couple of the series.
What a way to end one of the best series I’ve ever read. Friends, family and a love like no other. Helena Hunting, you’ve truly outdone yourself with this one. Thank you for one hell of a journey <3 – Review by Kim Cermak, Sultry Sirens Book Blog
4.5 STARS! I love Cary Hart‘s writing and I love this story!! She can make me feel every emotion. She has me turning each page furiously to find out what will happen. To get more from her characters. She develops characters that weave their way in your heart , staying there long after the story ends.
This read will make you laugh at Ellie and her bestie. You’ll roll your eyes with a smile on your face at Lee’s pick up lines. You will tear up as each character struggles and is forced to make decisions about their lives.
Play Me is the start of what is bound to be another series from Cary Hart that is packed with feels. I can’t wait for the next one! -Review by Christina
4.5 STARS – Wow! This book is amazing! Sarah Buhl is one of those authors I wish more readers knew about. If you are looking for a deeply emotional read, look no further. I loved these characters, and the inexplicable connection they shared. This story is full of feeling, and I couldn’t put it down. I definitely recommend you read it. You will fall in love with Wynn and Hannah! – Review by Abby O’Shea
I loved it! I had Unbreakable by Rebecca Shea on my Kindle for about a year and a half before I finally read it. Why did I wait so long? I’m so in love with these characters. Although their story is wrapped up nicely in an epilogue, just the way I like it, I want more of them! There are so many feels is this book. More than once while reading this, I was asked by my family if I was okay. My only complaint would be that I wish there was a bit MORE. There were just a few times where I would have liked some more details. Otherwise, I loved it and couldn’t put it down. I definitely recommend it! – Review by Abby O’Shea
